Heonki Lee · Korea-based designer who also codes

Your site, redesigned for
China, Japan, or Korea
— not imported.

A faithful translation still sits in a layout built for other eyes. I rebuild the design to the conventions of the market you're entering — China, Japan, or Korea — the type, the spacing, the trust cues a local expects, so the page feels like it was made there.

What I do — one person, start to finish

The work

CJK design localization

I rebuild your page — even when it's already translated — to the conventions of the market you're entering, China, Japan, or Korea, so it feels like a local made it, not translated and dropped in.

Made for the market

Designed to local convention

Not a generic template — the design follows how each market actually reads, working with the text you already have, so the page looks like a local made it.

No separate developer

Built and shipped by me

Because I also code, I hand over the finished page as real working code — ready to go live on your own site, with no separate developer to hire and nothing lost between design and build.

CJK Design — the look

The words are right — the page still feels imported.

Even with perfect words, a layout built for one market feels off in another — and that 'off' is what makes local visitors hesitate instead of act. I rebuild the page to the target market's own conventions, so it feels local, not imported:

Heonki Lee
A Korea-based designer who also codes

A designer who also builds the site and ships it live.

I'm Heonki Lee, a Korea-based designer. I rebuild a page so it feels as if it were made in the market it's entering — China, Japan, or Korea — not dropped in from abroad. An imported-looking layout quietly signals it wasn't built for them; a local one earns the trust that gets a visitor to act.

I'm one designer you can message directly — for a fix, an update, or the next page or market.

How it starts

Don't take my word for it. I redesign one of your pages first — free, and you judge.

You don't have to trust me up front. I send a before/after of one of your own pages, redesigned for its market — you see the quality before paying anything.

  1. 1Send me a page and tell me the market — China, Japan, or Korea.
  2. 2I send back a free before/after — your page now, next to the same page redesigned for that market — usually within a few days.
  3. 3You, or anyone who knows the market, compare them side by side.
  4. 4If it's a fit, you prepay and I build the rest — with a full month of revisions to get every page exactly right.
  5. 5Finished pages come back ready to drop into your own site.

Pricing

Start on a single page — or set up the whole market.

One Page Start on a single page · per market
$900 one page, fully localized, delivered as a finished working page

Your homepage or a key landing page — the lowest-commitment way to see it work on a real page of your own.

Full Market The main work · per market · extra markets: reduced foundation
From $3,000 per market · foundation + first 5 pages

A reusable design foundation for the market, built once — then each page built on it.

The first before/after is free — no commitment, a before/after of one of your own pages. Only the work itself is prepaid, by invoice.

Every price is for the finished page — designed and built as real working code, all by me, with no separate developer to hire. It goes live on your own site.

Questions

CJK Design

How does pricing work?
Two ways in — one page, fully localized and delivered as a finished page, is $900; a full market starts at $3,000 — a reusable foundation plus your first 5 pages, with each page after quoted. Tell me your pages and market and I’ll send the exact number up front. Whatever you spend on a single page counts toward a full market, and extra markets cost less. The first before/after is always free.
How does it go live on my site?
You get the finished page as real working code (HTML and CSS), ready to go live on your own site. For a standard site it drops straight onto your own host; for a custom or dynamic app, your developers integrate it into your stack. It’s your own site and your own infrastructure — you own it, nothing locked to me. If you’d like a hand getting it live, I can scope that separately.
Do you really know Chinese and Japanese design, or just Korean?
Every market gets a design built to its own conventions — the type, the spacing, the trust cues local users expect — never a generic template, China, Japan, and Korea alike. Korea is home ground; for China and Japan I design from the same close study of how each market reads. You always see a free before/after of your own page first, so you judge the fit before paying.
Will my page keep its own text and images?
Yes — your text, images, and search ranking stay; I rebuild the layout to the market’s conventions and your content flows into it, and I carry the SEO tags over into the new page. You bring the text already in the market’s language; translating it, if you need that, is a separate step.
Do I supply the text myself?
For the design work, yes — you bring your text in the market’s language, and I rebuild the page around it so it reads like a local made it.
What if I’m not happy with the result?
You see a free before/after before anything is agreed, and the build comes with a full month of revisions to get it right. Only the work itself is prepaid, by invoice — nothing before you’ve seen the quality.

Working together

What if something needs fixing or updating later?
Send it over — small updates start at $300, anything larger I quote first. No retainer and no monthly fee; you only pay when something actually comes up.
How fast is it?
The first before/after is usually within a few days. A full project depends on the page count and market — so I give you a clear timeline up front, before you commit.
